Paste

When you choose this menu item, the last object which has been placed onto the System Clipboard will be pasted into the current document.

Important: Objects will always been placed at the center of the currently selected page. If you want objects to be pasted at their original position, use Paste in Place instead (see below).

If you paste another object (e.g. an image, or any other format not created by iCalamus), into an iCalamus document, there are two options:

If no frame is selected, iCalamus automatically starts the Paste mode where you firstly have to create a new frame for the new content.
If a frame is selected, the object will be pasted as content into that frame. If the object had been placed onto the System Clipboard in different formats (e.g. a PDF can be placed there as an image and as a real PDF at the same time), iCalamus automatically selects the best format and pastes it into the frame.
