Enter Full Screen

OS X offers to use iCalamus in full screen mode. To enter full screen mode, simply choose this menu item or click the Full Screen icon in the upper right corner of a document window.

Note: Since OS X 10.10 (Yosemite), this Full Screen icon no longer exists. Instead, simply click on the green window button in the upper left of a document window.

When you have entered full screen mode for iCalamus, the system menu bar will be hidden. If at least one iCalamus document window is open, it will be enlarged to full screen size. If the document window's Toolbar was visible, it will be hidden by the system. The menu item then changes its title to Exit Full Screen.

In order to be able to access both the system menu bar and the document window's Toolbar, move the mouse pointer to the top of the screen. Both elements will then be shown again and can be selected as usual.

To exit full screen mode, choose the renamed menu item Exit Full Screen. Or click the now inverted Full Screen icon, which can not be found in the window title but in the upper right corner of the system menu bar.

Note: Since OS X 10.10 (Yosemite), this Full Screen icon no longer exists. Usually you quit Full Screen mode of an application via the [Escape] key in Yosemite. But because it is used for the Toolbox panel in iCalamus, you will have to use the menu item Exit Full Screen to return to normal mode.
