Edit fields

In iCalamus, edit fields in all dialogs support some special functions, which are described below.

Value input without measurement unit

Most of the edit fields show their current value with their current measurement unit (if it is changeable). When entering a new desired value via keyboard into the edit field, you do not have to enter the measurement unit. It will be added automatically when the value is taken by the dialog.

Value change with arrow keys

Instead of entering values via keyboard, you can click into an edit field and change the value using the arrow keys. The following key combinations are supported:

[Arrow up]

Increases the value a tenth unit.

[Arrow down]

Decreases the value a tenth unit.

[Shift][Arrow up]

Increases the value a whole unit.

[Shift][Arrow down]

Decreases the value a whole unit.
