Other Bugfixes
  • Fix: [528]: Text content flows around stroked outlines and lines.
  • Fix: [665]: Fixed a crash when grouping/ungrouping text frames that are part of a text pipe.
  • Fix: [705]: Inspector windows placed outside of an iCalamus document window no longer disappear when e.g. the Text inspector pane receives a mouse-click.
  • Fix: [745]: Text frame shadows have been corrected.
  • Fix: [750]: Duplicating guides no longer causes frozen documents.
  • Other bugs fixed.

What is new in iCalamus 2?

iCalamus has been completely re-written as a 64 bit application to use all features of OS X Mountain Lion (10.8) and higher. OS X Mavericks (10.9) is supported. You get new tools, a slightly changed user interface, easy-to-use path text for any path, amazing new line types and much more.

What's required for iCalamus 2?

Important note for users who have purchased iCalamus 1.x from the Mac App Store:

iCalamus 2 is not yet available in the Mac App Store. If you want to purchase the inexpensive upgrade from your version to iCalamus 2 directly from us, you will have to register your version 1.x on our website. If you already have received your personal match code for iCalamus 1.x from us before, you can directly order the upgrade on our website.

Otherwise, there are two ways to register your iCalamus 1.x license:

  1. You mail us a copy of your purchase document from Apple to show that you have purchased iCalamus 1.x from the Mac App Store.
  2. When you quit iCalamus for the 42nd time, a registration reminder dialog appears and invites you to register your license on our website. Follow the instructions. (The dialog will re-appear on each 7th quit afterwards.)
