  • Fix: [857]: The function Paste URI/URL in Place no longer crashes when no frame was selected previously.
  • Fix: [862]: Inspector panels sometimes could not be shown on OS X < 10.10.
  • Fix: [864]: The Document Setup dialog shows updated document parameters when they have been changed in the Page Inspector's Edit Global Page Parameters dialog.
  • Fix: [864]: Wrong colors of PDF content on screen.
  • Fix: No more problems with accessing parameters of shadow effects of copied frames.

  • Fix: [858]: Context and Action menu entries use the same order as the action icons in the Action bar.
Page Inspector
  • Fix: [865]: The dialog Edit Page(s) can no longer be used when no page view has been selected.
  • Fix: [866]: The dialog Edit Global Page Parameters no longer shows a useless alert when it has been closed without changes to the pages layout.
Context Functions
  • Fix: [791]: All relevant context menus offer a new entry Paste in Place.
GUI
  • New: [769]: The Welcome to iCalamus dialog shows the whole file and paths names in Tooltips.
  • New: [830]: The icons for locked/unlocked objects (e.g. frames, layers) have been enhanced.
  • Fix: [856]: On El Capitan, the OS X file picker didn't show import options by default, but just an [Options] button. This made many users oversee the import options.
Manual
  • New: The chapter Feedback has been enhanced.
  • New: Various dialog screenshots have been updated.

What's required for iCalamus 2?

Important note for users who have purchased iCalamus 1.x from the Mac App Store:

If you want to purchase the inexpensive upgrade from your version to iCalamus 2 directly from us, you will have to register your version 1.x on our website. If you already have received your personal match code for iCalamus 1.x from us before, you can directly order the upgrade on our website.

Otherwise, there are two ways to register your iCalamus 1.x license:

  1. You mail us a copy of your purchase document from Apple to show that you have purchased iCalamus 1.x from the Mac App Store.
  2. When you quit iCalamus for the 42nd time, a registration reminder dialog appears and invites you to register your license on our website. Follow the instructions. (The dialog will re-appear on each 7th quit afterwards.)
